Hopefully, by now you’ve submitted your disputes, increased your lines of credit on a few accounts, lowered your balances on a couple of other accounts and now you’re just waiting for the credit reporting agencies to get back to you.

If that’s not the case, take the steps necessary to get back on track.  Refer back to my past posts for any specific steps.

Good luck and please remember it is worth the effort to improve your credit score.  A better credit score will save you tens of thousands of dollars over your life time. Even my auto insurance company is now taking credit score into account.
